• 2 cups Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Butter (melted)
  • 1 cup light Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 3 2/3 cups Flour
  • 2 cups Dark Chocolate Chips



These are a great cookie for people who love both dark chocolate and milk chocolate.

When I originally started making them, I only used milk chocolate, but as my appreciation for Dark chocolate increased, I mixed it up a bit.

Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

In a large bowl, mix sugar, brown sugar, baking soda and eggs.

Over medium heat, using a double boiler, melt the butter and the Milk Chocolate chips.

Add the butter and milk chocolate to the sugar mixture and mix well.

Slowly blend in the flour and vanilla.

Finally mix in the dark chocolate chips.

Spoon onto ungreased cookie sheets about 2 inches apart.

bake for 8-9 minutes or until the bottoms are lightly browned.

Cool for 10-15 minutes
