- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1 Egg
- 1 1/4 cups Flour
- 3/4 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 3/4 cup Peanut Butter Chips
These were a favorite of my brothers growing up and I made them for him every year.
Now I make them for another of my favorite people who also happens to love peanut butter cookies
I hope you enjoy them as well!
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a large bowl combine sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, butter and egg.
Mix in baking soda and baking powder.
Slowly add in flour and mix well.
Mix in peanut butter chips and form dough into a large ball.
Refrigerate for 2 hours.
Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place 2 inches apart on non greased cookie sheet.
Press dough down with a fork in a checker board patter.
Place in oven for 9-10 minutes or until bottom of cookies are light golden brown.
Remove from oven and cool for 10-15 minutes.
